Which of Orbital’s locations are currently hiring?
Orbital has employment opportunities at its major locations in Dulles, Virginia and Chandler, Arizona. In addition, other locations regularly have employment opportunities including Greenbelt, Maryland; Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; and Huntington Beach, California. If I am interested in more than one location, should I apply to multiple requisitions?
Yes, each Orbital location has their own recruiting department and has specific requisitions open for their site. It is recommended that if you are interested in multiple locations, you apply to the appropriate open requisition that relates to each location.
How do I apply for a position at Orbital?
You must submit your resume via Orbital’s website. Once you identify a position that you are interested in, please submit your resume directly for that requisition. After Orbital receives your resume, a recruiter will review your resume to determine if you are a qualified match. In the event that your skills match a current need and the business unit expresses interest, we will contact you for an interview.
What are the requirements to apply for a position posted on Orbital.com?
To be eligible for employment, you must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or lawful temporary resident under an amnesty program.
Do I need to have a security clearance?
Some positions require security clearances, but most do not. If a clearance is required, you will be required to provide additional information on our automated job application form.
Does Orbital Pay relocation expenses?
Under certain circumstances, Orbital provides relocation assistance to new employees. Consideration is made on a case-by-case basis.

Can I telecommute?
Teleworking is the regular practice of working at home for a limited number of days instead of working in an Orbital office. Orbital makes telework available in selective situations when it is determined that such an arrangement will benefit both Orbital and the employee.
