What employment opportunities are currently available at Orbital?

To view a listing of employment opportunities, please visit our search job listings page. You can narrow your search using the search fields provided, or you can click on the "View All Positions" button to review a listing of all posted jobs.

How do I submit a resume?

Each job posting you view will have a link at the bottom of the page stating the following “Apply for this job online”. Once you click that link you will be prompted to either log into the system or fill out an online form to create a profile

Once the response form opens, you will need to fill in all of the required information indicate by an asterisk. Once you hit the "submit" button, your resume will become part of our searchable database.

Please note that submitting your resume more than once will NOT increase your chances of being contacted. We will contact you if your skills and qualifications match the position(s) in which you have expressed interest.

Why am I being asked how I learned about this position?

Collecting “source” information allows Orbital to better understand how applicants learn about our employment opportunities. There are two text boxes located underneath the primary “source” field. If you select “other” from the initial drop down menu, please indicate the specific source in the first text box. If you learned of this opportunity through an Orbital employee, please choose “employee referral” in the primary “source” drop down menu and provide us with that individual’s first and last name in the second text box.

Why am I being asked if I am a current or former government employee?

Because Orbital does significant business with the U.S. Government, in some cases additional documentation is required prior to interviewing former or current government employees.

I submitted my resume through the online response form but I'd like to mail it to you just to make sure you received it.

If you received the confirmation e-mail at the time of submission, we received your resume. You can submit another copy of your resume on-line if you have updated information or you can update your profile on the web site, but all resumes received by mail will be discarded.

Will I be notified one way or the other if the job is filled or if I progress in the process?

If you received the confirmation e-mail, we received your resume. If your skills and qualifications match the needs of this position, a representative from Orbital will contact you. However, you may log back into the system at anytime to view the status of your resume.

How long are job postings generally on the Web site? Are they posted for a specific amount of time, or until the job is filled?

Postings generally remain on our website until the position in question has been filled.
