Internship Application Process

Each summer, Orbital hosts student interns from colleges and universities all around the country.  An internship can be a valuable experience that allows college students to gain valuable, hands-on experience working on some of the industry’s most exciting programs. If you are interested in an internship at Orbital here’s how the application process works:

Submit Resume

Interested intern applicant s should submit their resume to 'Search Job Postings'.  Your resume should include your major, a list of current and completed course work, campus activities and other pertinent information (clubs, honors, secondary school experiences, etc.).

Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their resumes by January at the latest.

Hiring Managers Review Resumes

Resumes are distributed to hiring managers during the month of February for evaluation by mangers in the areas in which the interns will work during the summer

Internship Offers are Extended

In March, the company will extend offers for internships to those selected by managers to join us for the summer.

The Internship Period

Start and end dates vary depending on the intern’s school schedule, but most interns start by June and stay with the company though August.  All interns receive a competitive salary and housing assistance as well as travel reimbursement is provided.
