Orbital has assembled a world-class team for the development of the Cygnus™ advanced maneuvering spacecraft that will deliver supplies to the International Space Station (ISS). Orbital is currently under contract to conduct seven missions under the Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) and Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) space act agreements with NASA.
Orbital is developing Cygnus along with the Taurus II medium-class space launch vehicle, to deliver a total of 20 metric tons of supplies to the ISS between 2011 and 2015. Leveraging flight-proven technologies and best-in-class engineering, Orbital aims to provide reliable and affordable cargo delivery services to the ISS.
