David Kachemov is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Orbital's Transportation Management Systems Division (TMS), headquartered in Columbia, MD. Mr. Kachemov has held various positions in the transportation industry over the past 12 years. In his role as General Manager, Mr. Kachemov's focus is on increasing customer satisfaction and expanding customer service operations following the completion of initial system deployment. Mr. Kachemov also leads the development of TMS products and features to meet the demands of the Intelligent Transportation Management market.
Mr. Kachemov joined Orbital in 1998. He has over 30 years of experience in engineering, business development and management, with 12 of these years in the transportation industry. He holds a B.S. from Boston University in Systems Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University. Mr. Kachemov also holds two patents in digital design and has a published paper in the field of VLF/LF communications.
