Susan Herlick

Susan Herlick was named Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in January 2006. Previously, Ms. Herlick served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel from 2003 to 2005 and as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel from 1995 to 2002. Prior to joining Orbital, she was an attorney at the Washington, DC office of the law firm of Hogan & Hartson LLP.

As General Counsel, Ms. Herlick is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal activities, including mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions, securities and stock exchange regulatory compliance, government and commercial contracting procedures, litigation, corporate ethics and governance practices, and U.S. and international government procurement compliance. In addition, Ms. Herlick also oversees the company’s export control function and public communications efforts.

Ms. Herlick earned her bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and her Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington National Law Center.
