Intelsat 11 is the fourth of six Orbital STAR™ GEO communications satellite ordered by Intelsat. Intelsat 11 carries two communications payloads: a C-band payload to serve the continental United States (CONUS), Mexico and South America; and a Ku-band payload to serve DirecTV’s Latin America downlink coverage in Brazil, with spot coverage over portions of Mexico, Venezuela and Florida.
