MEASAT-3a

The MEASAT-3a satellite is being developed and built for MEASAT Satellite Systems of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The satellite will carry 12 Ku-band and 12 C-band transponders and will feature three antennas. MEASAT-3a will provide C-band communications services throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and Ku-band direct-to-home television broadcasting to Malaysia and Indonesia. The satellite will be located at an orbital slot of 91.5 degrees East longitude over Southeast Asia and will generate approximately 3.5 kilowatts of payload power.

Antennas: one 2.3m dual gridded shaped deployable reflector

Stabilization: 3-axis stabilized; mono propellant on orbit
