• Access to the other Orbital facilities including a state-of-the-art satellite processing facility at our corporate headquarters in Dulles, Virginia.

Beltsville Assembly Facility

• Fabrication facility is located in Beltsville, Maryland. A full service, 25,000 square foot spaceflight certified facility provides quick turnaround of flight electronics, harnesses, cables, mechanical components, and ground support equipment for NASA, NRL, and other customers.
• Class 10,000 and 100,000 work areas and conformal coating facilities.
• Provides customers with a local, accessible, responsive fabrication and assembly facility that is available to perform electronics design, packaging, assembly, integration, and test operations.
• Harness fabrication area and Quality Assurance inspection area offers full autonomous verification of spaceflight equipment.
• Surface Mount Technology Facility - State-of-the-art equipment and technology are used to process and fabricate high-rel boards in a NASA-approved and ISO certified facility. Personnel are fully trained and certified to produce small and medium quantity high-rel throughput.
• Optical clean room facility with 2,500 square feet of Class 10,000 space. Orbital Photonics Test and Integration Facility (OPTIF) is available for R&D, fabrication and testing of optical components, subsystems, and instruments.
