Orbital has assembled a world-class team for the development of the Taurus II medium-class space launch vehicle. The two-stage launch vehicle is designed to meet the highest NASA and DoD mission success standards, and incorporates flight-proven subsystems to reduce development schedule and risk. Taurus II currently has a manifest of nine missions to launch Orbital’s Cygnus advanced maneuvering spacecraft to deliver supplies to the International Space Station.
By leveraging flight-proven technologies and best-in-class engineering, Taurus II aims to provide reliable and affordable access to orbit and Earth escape trajectories for civil, military and commercial payloads.
